ABOUT OUR PRACTICE
Nelson Medical Group provides GP and family health services to patients in North Shields. We offer a wide range of clinics as well as GP appointments, and patients can often be seen by other healthcare professionals within the practice such as practice nurses and a pharmacist.
We are part of Northumbria Primary Care Limited which is a partnership between local GP surgeries and a top-performing NHS trust, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Practice opening hours:
8.00 am – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday
Please note, that while our doors open at 8am, our phone lines do not open until 8.30am.
Disabled access
There is good disabled access in all our consulting rooms
Medical research
We are a research practice and suitable patients may be invited to participate in research on a voluntary basis.
GP earnings
All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
